Calling All Horrific Scribes!

SUBMISSIONS TEMPORARILY CLOSE MARCH 31, 2025!

Horrific Scribblings was initially idealistic about waiting to involve other writers until we could afford to pay pro rates but has crumbled before impatience and excitement to work with others and decided to offer $25 per accepted submission of an original dark fiction short story (1,500 – 5,000 words) or of a small selection of dark poetry to become a part of Horrific Scribes, a part of HorrificScribblings.com that will showcase writers and archive–and maybe to some extent centralize–fiction that aims for the provocative, scary, and strange. A major goal is to create an author list the growth of which will create more exposure for all.
