Patrick W. Marsh

Patrick W. Marsh (he/him) is an author, poet, and screenwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the author of The Greenland Diaries, co-creator of Hidden Oaks Podcast, and his poems and short stories have been published in a variety of literary magazines. Patrick has a healthy obsession with all things monstrous. He studies and creates them in all versions of prose and language that he is able. Patrick regards monsters as both muses and mirrors for human behavior and emotions. They tell stories about humanity that would normally be silent.

Read Marsh’s poetry collection Stones, Bridges, and Blades: Three Poems of Legend and Lore in Horrific Scribes March 2026.
Description: Bits of myth and lore mixed with monsters. A shattered string of rocks muses over its initial creation, at the hands of a famous and ancient serpent queen. A troll is deaf to the life around him because of his own unrelenting hunger. He can only listen to that need and sensation. A lone samurai watches over a ravenous sword to prevent a greater fiend. He can relate to its unyielding bloodlust.
