Sonali Roy

A freelance journalist and photographer, Sonali Roy wears several other hats including those of a 3-D Art designer, music composer, lyricist, pianist, singer, and bird-lover. She works at the Society for Ritual Arts (two journals: Coreopsis and Roses & Wildflowers) as Art Director (volunteer). She has contributed to publications including New Scientist, SERVO, Parabnormal, Mycelia, Paper Lanterns, Mantelpiece, 34 Orchard, The Vegan Society Magazine, and many others.

While not working, she enjoys creative writing, reading occult detective stories, and listening to music. Devoted to a lacto-vegan diet, Sonali regularly practices yoga and meditation. She loves nurturing her “green friends” in her backyard.

Sonali is accompanied by the sweet memories of her canine friend (and her best friend) Fuchoo, who left her forever in July 2023 at the age of eight.
