Gerard J Waggett

In the winter of 2024, Gerard J Waggett’s story “He Loved His Mama and His Mayonnaise” won first place in the Screw Turn Flash Fiction competition hosted by The Ghost Story. His horror stories have earned Honorable Mention in three subsequent competitions hosted by the website, securing him a spot on The Ghost Story’s Hall of Fame.
His one-act play “Elizabeth” was included in the premiere issue of Dracula Beyond Stoker, which was nominated for a Rondo Hatton Award for Best Horror Magazine.
He is also the author of 10 books of soap opera trivia as well as You Know Your Life Is a Soap Opera If … (a humorous guide for turning your life into a daytime drama).
In 2003, he became a two-time Jeopardy! Champion.
